What's in the Box HP IPAQ 211, standard 2200 mAh battery, AC Adapter with power cord, sync/charge cable, stylus, slip case, documentation kit, HP iPAQ Companion CD Powered by Windows Mobile 6 Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 Classic updates the Windows Mobile 5 platform with a number of handy features that make searching through email, editing Microsoft Office documents, and staying on top of your most important communications even easier. Emails can now be viewed in their original rich HTML format and now offer the ability to visit embedded links. It also includes Windows Live for Windows Mobile, which provides a full set of Windows Live services, such as the Windows Live Messenger IM application, which now enables you to chat with more than one person at one time or send a file. With Windows Mobile 6, your phone will finally be able to emulate the power and features of your PC's Microsoft Office suite. You'll be able to neatly view, navigate and edit Word documents and Excel spreadsheets in their original formatting--without affecting tables, images or text--as well as view PowerPoint presentations. - Microsoft Office Word Mobile features include spell-check, Find and Replace commands, bulleted lists, text formatting, and support for tables for the first time.
- With Excel Mobile, you’re not just confined to editing charts: with the new Chart Wizard you can create charts quickly and easily.
- PowerPoint Mobile allows you to view the full presentation, rehearse timings, check the order and any live links you may have in your presentation. You can then email comments back to the team or communicate via MSN Messenger for an immediate response.
- After creating or editing a Word document or Excel spreadsheet, you can synchronize it with your PC and it will automatically be converted to the PC version.
All Windows Mobile 6 powered devices include Direct Push Technology for up-to-date email delivery and automatic synchronization of Outlook calendars, tasks and contacts through Microsoft Exchange Server. It also offers a set of important device security and management features that include the capability to remotely wipe all data from a device should it be lost or stolen, helping ensure that confidential information remains that way.

Worst Customer Service Imaginable August 31, 2010 Thursday's Child Dealing with HP customer service is like dealing with mindless automaton. I must have spent more than 8 hours on the phone with them to no end. This device is necessary for certain applications, but if you purchase one, be sure to order a revolver as well to shoot yourself in the head after getting off the phone with Soulless Packard. Or, of if you are anti-gun, try cyanide.
Got it used and still love it August 28, 2010 T. Wiloughbi I got this Ipaq from my friend, to replace my older one and love the larger screen size. I mainly use this as a storage device for helpful informaion. The replacement was very helpful since I can have all my documents and books on one small device and still access the web with wifi. Nice product.
What is that in your pocet? August 5, 2010 Travis L. Mccaughey This unit is big and bulky. Moderate power life, I leave it plugged in when I am sitting down at the house. Screen is not as responsive as desired. Not intuitive to navigate. I run nursing software pepid on it, it's been off and on. I wouldnt have bought one unless I had too for school. I had to, I dont know if they are all like this.
ipaq 211 handheld June 10, 2010 J. E. Brown (Savanna, IL) Keeps you in touch when you are not at home or near a computer!
Still learning how to use it.
Well thought it would be better....... June 4, 2010 Loops (Denver, Co) I purchased the 211 as an upgrade to my old aging hp ipaq 2495b, which I love but it was getting older and the back had to be taped shut plus the battery is always an issue. With excitement I finally got the 211, everything was looking good I do love the screen. The battery life is much better unfortunately I keep having issues with wifi connections. It won't connect to my home network all the time it does now and then just not consistently. The 2495b does easily and all the time. The 211 won't connect any where else either, the 2495b does fine. I can't seem to figure it out, so I'm back to using my old 2495b and wondering why I spent the money on the new one when the wifi won't consistently work? It says it's connected but it's not oh well sigh. My advice, hold out a bit longer and see if the next series addresses some of the issues this one has. I could just have a picky one but with the win mobile 6.0 I didn't think I would have any issues??
